The Rosary Sodality is probably the oldest organization still in existence within the parish. The SJPII Rosary Sodality is comprised of members of the sodalities of the three former individual parishes in Adams: Notre Dame Des Sept Douleurs, St. Stanislaus Kostka, and St. Thomas Aquinas. Recently, the sodality welcomed members from St. Mary of the Assumption in Cheshire.
The Rosary Sodality is a women's group with a special devotion to praying the rosary. The group also meets socially. Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday in the months of September through December and March through June. They have a Christmas Party and a May Banquet. Sodality members attend Mass in a group on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on October 7. They pray the rosary at the wakes of their deceased members and form an honor guard at their funerals. They also award a scholarship to a high school graduate who is active in any of the parish’s ministries.
